Controls Engineer- Shelbyville, IN Job Description We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at a facility responsible for manufacturing toughened glass for automotive applications. This facility is equipped with advanced robotics, including ABB and Fanuc, along with Glasstech furnaces, Casso Solar ovens, presses, Bando cutting lines, multiple conveyor systems, and Keyence/Cognex vision systems. We are currently phasing out legacy Texas Instrument PLCs and replacing them with new PLC systems. Additional responsibilities are listed below: Responsibilities Designing and overseeing the build of control panels required for new projects. Creating new control systems. Integrating and commissioning new and/or legacy equipment. Reading and creating electrical diagrams proficiently. Working in compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Programming and designing automated equipment. Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Engineering. 3+ years of experience with PLCs (PLC-5, RSLogix500, and Studio5000). Experience with Motion Control (AC/DC drives). Experience with HMI (FactoryTalk View), AutoCAD, and Electrical Design. I am actively hiring for this Controls Engineer opportunity!
