Who we are looking for: We are looking for a hands-on Principal DevOps Engineer with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems using Cloud Technologies to join our Revenue Cycle Analytics team. We provide reporting and analytics to all Revenue Cycle products. As a Principal Member of Technical Staff you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of both development and production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations for the Revenue Cycle Analytics development team. This engineer will perform administration and analysis for environments and recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, supportability, and cost reduction. This is an opportunity to combine technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure with administration & analysis. We have a variety of platforms with varying capabilities across platforms that are provided by both packaged distributions and cloud-based technologies. This engineer would perform deployments for various platforms in commercial and federal spaces. This engineer would automate the monitoring of the systems and seamless deployments with limited human interaction. This engineer will provide escalation support to a wide range of production environment (both commercial and federal) problems related to immense growth, scaling, leveraging the cloud, extremely high performance, and high availability requirements. Career Level - IC4 Responsibilities Responsibilities: Design, Build, Deploy and Maintain a SaaS application built on OCI Services Propose and make design architectural design decisions for SaaS application built using OCI Services. Oversee alignment to OHAI onboarding requirements for a new application. Ensure security is designed into the solution. Design and develop high-performing, scalable, and fault tolerant cloud infrastructure for reporting & analytics capabilities. Keep existing infrastructure in conformance with Oracle requirements. Be aware of, drive, and implement new monitoring and deployment capabilities, and security measures. Ensure existing infrastructure is healthy and performant. Automate infrastructure deployment. Define and drive effort to update current operational systems to the latest Oracle Cloud technologies. Lead individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise. Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship on U.S. soil is required. Candidates must have the ability to acquire & maintain a federal security clearance vital for this role, which requires you to be a US citizen Experience with performance analysis and tuning of reporting & analytics applications required. Proven experience building and supporting scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure on public cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, or similar. 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure knowledge to include: Development and deployment Security, SSL, Certificates Automation using Terraform Experience with programming in a high-level language such as Java, Python, or similar. Experience with Data Engineering architecture and services, such as Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, Data Integration, Data Flow, and Apache Spark. ETL & Data warehousing experience required (Vertica/Snowflake, ADW or similar) Advanced SQL skill required - Query/Fine Tune Performance ADW/DB admin skills required Experience with telemetry, observability, and analytics tool/applications, such as ELK, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk. Experience using and building CI/CD pipelines with git-based repositories like github/BitBucket. Ability to make clear, concise, and compelling presentations. Being proactive about security and fault tolerance. Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent related field experience required. Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience in Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development. Bonus Points: Existing Federal Security Clearance. Experience with Oracle OCI services. Data Visualization tools experience (Tableau, OAC or similar). Experience in HealthCare space. Experience with Prometheus, AlertManager and Grafana. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
