The Content Marketing Manager is a 'storyteller' of RM Sotheby's, assisting in the planning, development, and implementation the company's content strategy. They are responsible for the management, creation, and production of online and offline marketing content. Job description: Works closely with senior leaders, sales, research, and marketing/PR teammates to create effective content strategies. Builds and maintains editorial/content calendar and develops metrics for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content. Identifies and ideates engaging stories on cars consigned, auctions, or events RM Sotheby's is participating in, conceptualizing how best to tell these stories and how best to share these stories via the channels available to us. At times, provides editorial content to external partners and paid publications Ideates and devises content plans and updates for various marketing channels, including website - blog/auctions/homepage, paid social, print pieces, and emails, working closely with consigning specialists, in-house digital/creative/social team members, historians, and freelance writers/videographers (as needed), working with team to repurpose popular content across multiple channels Works closely with the PR team to ensure stories translate well into media pitches, press releases, and larger communication strategies. Coordinates with Sotheby's, other partners, and third parties to produce high-quality joint content programs as needed Edits all content intended for RMS channels provided by team or external sources Serves as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company's tone and mission. Writes clean, concise, and well-polished copy. Ensures content is optimized considering SEO and Google Analytics and works with digital marketing team to implement best SEO practices. Develops and maintains a network of freelance writers, photographers, videographers, production firms, historians, and industry notables.
