Description We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! W hat the position entails: Extrusion maintenance is responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment. This includes repairing equipment, completing PM's, installing new equipment and completing work orders in a safe and timely manner. This position is a 12-hour shift pattern, working 6pm-6am. Job Responsibilities: Repair of plant equipment Perform preventive maintenance activities Installation of new equipment Train equipment operators for routine maintenance activities Other maintenance activities as required What a candidate must have to be qualified for the role: Welding Hydraulic troubleshooting, repair and install Pneumatic troubleshooting, repair and install Electrical troubleshooting, repair and install General metal machining PLC troubleshooting Communication (verbal and written) Basic computer skills High School diploma or equivalent Post-secondary education in a technical field (preferred) First Responder Certified (preferred) Minimum 1-year Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
