A CNC Machinist job in Portage, MI is available through IntePros. Candidates will be operating CNC machines for Medical device manufacturing. Candidates will be working with Aluminum, Steel, and Plastic. This is Six-month contract assignment with possible extension. This position will pay up to $28 hr D.O.Q. CNC Machinist job responsibilities include: •Candidates will be performing Program edits. •Candidates will be performing Start-up and Shut-down procedures. •Candidates will be performing quality checks of parts produced. •Candidates will be performing tool change outs and clean-up of there area. QUALIFICATIONS: •No degree required. •At least one year of experience with CNC Operation. •Candidate must have experience with CNC Mills or Lathes, or a combination of the two. •Candidates must have experience working one of the following materials Aluminum, Steel, and Plastic. •Candidates must have experience using Blueprints and Schematics. •Candidates must have experience using Micrometers, Gauges and Calibers.
