Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead our process engineering team. The ideal candidate will drive process optimization, oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of process engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Process Design & Optimization: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of chemical manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on process engineering methodologies and tools, ensuring best practices are applied across the team. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations and environmental standards, and maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting. Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance team capabilities and knowledge in process engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. 7+ years of experience in process engineering within the chemical manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of chemical processes, manufacturing technologies, and process optimization techniques. Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and safety practices in the chemical industry.
