The individual will oversee various supports and services provided to low income and academically needy students. No benefits are paid by the grant. The position is for hours worked beyond the normal school day. Grant funded stipends for licensed staff are typically payable in 20 equal installments starting with the 9/5 payroll and ending 6/20. Qualifications Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for teaching grades 9-12 Knowledge and practices as it relates to supporting (all) students' ability to learn ESL or Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred Reports To Directly to the Assistant Principal of Instruction and District Title I Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not all Inclusive) Assist in the recruitment; organization; and monitoring of data for students selected and enrolled in academic support courses.
