Purpose of Position:The Security Operations Center Agent monitors all locations to support store operations, deter loss, identify shrink opportunities, address alarm events, and provide for physical security and safety awareness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as first contact LP support to store leadership for matters related to LPAssess, prioritize, and respond to incoming calls (theft, incidents, alarms)Appropriately leverage store personnel to mitigate active malicious behavior and prevent lossDevelop and conduct investigations leveraging all available business resourcesReport incidents of loss to appropriate law enforcement agenciesMaintain detailed records of daily activities by location, activity type, and outcomeActively engage in ongoing forensic video review to identify deviation from expectations related to shrink (internal, external, process)Conducts structured remote audits within assigned areas to support and enhance store operationsAll other duties as assigned Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to provide direction and make sound decisions in elevated stress situations Ability to multitaskAbility to deal with conflict in a professional mannerKnowledge of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and Microsoft Office Meticulous attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality EducationExperience:High School Diploma or equivalent required1-year Asset Protection (or related field) experience preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:None.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.
