Job Description As a member of the Infrastructure Delivery Engineering (IDE) team, you will take an active role in the automation and acceleration of infrastructure delivery. We are looking for a highly talented and experienced APEX engineer to help lead the most critical functions of our Cloud business, skilled in the design, delivery and ongoing support of Oracle APEX Applications. The ideal candidate will be energized and driven by solving problems in new and innovative ways. Candidates must be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment and have the ability to engage with stakeholders to identify minimal viable product for rapid delivery of new technology solutions. Candidate Profile BS or MS degree in CS or equivalent experience relevant to functional area Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and SQL/PLSQL, with 7+ years experience Experience with CI/CD pipeline for APEX development cycle Building Java API integrations with APEX JavaScript, and CSS will be essential in optimizing performance and ensuring the robustness of applications. Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals. Experience with clouds is a plus! Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills Cloud fundamentals are plus: understanding the building blocks of critical IaaS services, such as Compute, Block Storage, Networking. Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
