Position SummaryResponsible for coordinating the shipping, receiving, movement and storing of any and all materials necessary to meet the production requirements of the Company's sales demand. Additional duties will be assisting in the shipment and receipt of items by unloading and loading trucks, inspecting incomingoutgoing merchandise, matching purchase orders, and distributing and storing merchandise appropriately.Minimum Job Qualifications And RequirementsHigh School diploma (or equivalent) One year of experience working in a warehouse capacityForklift Certification or proven lift experience is preferred.Strong problem solving skillsIntermediate computer skills with the ability to key in data, type, and operate a computer keyboardWork independently and ability to stay focused and on taskBasic math skills in order to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divideGood reading comprehension skills in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and readingMust be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demandsOther Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesHandle all material movement required to support all other departments in the attainment of their own functional goals Read work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed andor shippedMove materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areasSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins per predetermined sequence or standardsEnsure Warehouse is clean, orderly, accessible, and safe at all timesMark materials "shipped" and "received" with the appropriate identifying informationResponsible for proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and for the distribution of goods received as assigned.
