Truck Driver will transport goods from one location to the other. Will often assist with loading and unloading their vehicle, preparing shipments and working in the receiving and stockroom. Must have a valid CDL class B or higher. Receiving/Stockroom Safely unload trucks Work from vendor packing list to receive parts Time phase parts upon receipt Draw part and charge out from inventory Locate parts Charge out and deliver shortages Produce BOL and locate parts at outside warehouse Process return to stock Use of computers and computer programs to complete assignments. Shipping Operate CDL class B vehicle to transport equipment and parts Safely loading and unloading 53' vans, step decks, flat beds and double drop trailers Plan and construct special and non-standard skids, crates and containers Check product for protection of machine areas, coverage, etc. Weigh, mark and identify shipments Load to carrier vehicle, block and secure for proper transit Process all paperwork to be included and ll items included Operate wood working machines Operate required material handling equipment Export casing extrusion lines Working with BOL to route freight correctly Safely rigging machinery Jack and rolling machinery through shop safely Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices Detect faulty equipment before shipment and bring to supervision attention
