We're looking for an AV Collaboration Engineer who is a hard-working, detail oriented individual to join our Employee Tech Team. This team is responsible for maintaining and supporting Wayfair's current AV collaboration technology, while also driving the implementation of future solutions that enhance employee collaboration, making it faster and more efficient. What You'll Do Provide tier 1/2 support to Wayfair employees for AV/IT concerns, including conference room hardware/software, event/meeting support, Chrome OS/Windows endpoints, TVs, projectors, and more. Manage the full asset lifecycle by deploying, configuring, and maintaining equipment. Prepare and deploy tech and AV hardware in Wayfair offices, including the installation and configuration of video conferencing and collaboration solutions. Maintain and standardize software and hardware across Wayfair's Boston headquarters and global offices. Continuously seek and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in Wayfair systems. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, business stakeholders, and ET partners/cross-functional teams. Educate employees on system usage, and provide training to peers and junior team members. Support audiovisual production components such as video conferencing and digital signage, facilitate live event setups globally, and install heavy AV equipment (TVs, mounts, VC gear) using power tools. Conduct routine environment sweeps, troubleshoot hardware issues, and manage inventory, repairs, and e-wasting. Monitor and manage incoming support requests via email, phone, chat, walkups, and the ticketing system, while documenting troubleshooting steps and solutions. What You'll Need 3+ years of relevant experience in Collaboration Technology and Audiovisual Technology. Experience implementing tech solutions for large companies with a global footprint. Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred). Experience with video conferencing software such as Google Meet, Zoom, etc. Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work both independently and within a team on tasks and project work. Capable of researching new tech solutions, providing detailed proposals, and implementing solutions. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Comfortable supporting key meetings for senior and C-level leadership across global locations. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds of A/V hardware (TVs, speakers, projectors, etc.). Nice to have: Experience with Powershell, GSuite, Google Administration, JAMF, Intune, and Active Directory. Experience with Crestron, Extron, Chrome OS, Windows 10, and video conferencing equipment like Logitech, Crestron, and Polycom.
