In the role of GIS Specialist, we'll count on you to support GIS tasks for multidisciplinary projects, including transportation, energy and water; design and produce cartographic products for various purposes; perform data input and editing of spatial data under minimal supervision using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online; conduct spatial analyses using ArcGIS; prepare geoprocessing models using ModelBuilder, Python or other scripting languages; prepare spatial databases for projects and perform routine database management; support field data collection using ArcGIS Online apps and associated data management; Prepare documented technical procedures; and perform other duties as needed. You would get to work with an accomplished team of transportation and resource planners, environmental scientists, engineers, strategic communication coordinators, and graphic designers on projects in the Midwest as well as across the country.
