What You'll Need The Service Sales Account Manager is responsible for generating new service agreements by acquiring new accounts and expanding agreements within existing ones. Success relies on capturing new business and selling agreements through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells. You'll tailor solutions for decision-makers such as CIOs, VPs, and more. To thrive in this role, you should have a hunter mindset, unafraid to purse new leads and opportunities through cold-calling and networking. A talent for building strong relationships is essential, as is a proven history of managing the full sales cycle with varying sales cycle lengths. Solution Focus: Build and develop a pipeline centered on assigned service solutions, including maintenance services, SaaS, and managed services. Proposal Construction: Create compelling service agreements that win business. Proposals will feature a detailed quote, a strong business case, and a clear articulation of our unique qualifications. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work alongside Account Executives to promote service agreements to existing clients and new construction projects. Collaborate with service colleagues and subject matter experts to create and deliver success proposals. Establishing and Measuring Market Awareness: Enhance market presence through networking, impactful presentations, attendance at industry events, and active participation in industry associations. Presenting & Closing: Present proposals to the decision makers while managing objections related to timing, pricing, and competition. Final negotiations should lead to a prompt "go" or "no go" decision. Account Management: Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing customer accounts to achieve high customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and profit targets.
