Stormwater & Water Resources Infrastructure Civil Engineer (Chicago/Remote) Are you an experienced Civil Engineer with a passion for water resource infrastructure design? We are seeking a talented engineer to join our Water and Environment Practice Group. This role is based in Chicago but offers flexibility for remote work. Key Responsibilities: /- Design and manage moderate to large water resource projects, including analysis, permitting, and preparation of construction documents. /- Oversee small to medium-sized projects, track budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and coordinate with clients and vendors. /- Perform watershed hydrologic modeling, dam breach analyses, storm sewer design, flood mitigation, and more. /- Utilize AutoCAD/MicroStation, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GIS for design and modeling. /- Collaborate with structural and transportation engineers on waterway crossings. /- Develop Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs and assist in project scoping. Qualifications: /- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET accredited). /- 5-12 years of experience in water resources or civil engineering. /- Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain within a year). /- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and GIS.
