Position Description You will serve as a F-35 Training and Support Systems (TSS) Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) in the F-35 Air Platform System Engineering Branch and Systems Engineering Department of Naval Air System Command-Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). As the APMSE, you will provide multi-disciplinary support for the F-35 Air System in PEO (JSF) and will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support to the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) team. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible for planning, assigning, managing, and coordinating engineering tasks for a major aviation program. You will develop and review program technical and mission documentation, provide authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues and ensure engineering requirements are met. You will participate in the development and design of new systems by assessing if available or imminent technology is sufficient to meet requirements or system concepts are applicable to fleet operational requirements. You will recommend revisions to operational requirements or design concepts as required. You will formulate engineering design concepts and performance requirements which provide the basis for overall technical and engineering planning for the assigned system.
