Executive Assistant to the Dean, Graduate School of Nutrition, Boston, Massachusetts The Dean of a highly unique graduate institution that focuses on health and nutrition is looking for a true right hand Executive Assistant. The Dean is essentially a researcher and policy maker for healthcare initiatives in Washington DC, so candidates with an interest in healthcare research and policy and has experience working in the political arena is highly desired. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience supporting a high- level c-suite executive in a fast-paced environment and understands how to juggle an ever-changing calendar. It is also important for the candidate to be interested in their mission to help patient treatment care through nutrition as well as traditional treatment protocols. This is an in-person position, 4 days in the office depending on what is going on with the Deans schedule. ABOUT THE JOB: About the Job: Support the Dean as gatekeeper handling complex calendar management, prioritizing emails and crafting them on his behalf Schedule complex domestic and international travel arrangements with detailed itineraries Prepare Dean for industry and policy leader meetings with all collateral materials and possible research; Communicate effectively with ease to high profile industry and policy leaders and other external stakeholders throughout the country Set up for meetings including catering Track on-going projects with key deliverables Be responsible to handle logistics for special events, off-site meetings and the annual conference Handle expense reporting Ad hoc projects Base Salary, Comprehensive Health Benefits About You: A minimum of 8 years of experience supporting a key C-Suite executive in a fast-paced environment; An interest in health policy and experience working with politicians A PLUS Bachelors Degree Experience working with Donors and high- level stakeholders with grace and diplomacy Very organized, and detail oriented, anticipating needs and solving problems with little intervention Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; very tech savvy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Polished, professional demeanor and a true team player An interest in nutrition and health policy a PLUS
