The Director of Security will bring extensive experience in hospitality security, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with the hotel's overall goals.Collaborate with senior management to integrate security initiatives seamlessly into the guest experience.Lead, mentor, and manage the security team, fostering a culture of professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is well-equipped to handle security challenges effectively.Oversee daily security operations, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response procedures.Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential security threats.Liaise with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to security within the municate security protocols and updates effectively to all colleagues.Stay abreast of the latest security technologies and implement systems that enhance overall security effectiveness.Manage and optimize the use of CCTV, access control, and other security technologies.Develop and implement protocols for responding to security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and incidents, providing detailed reports.QualificationsProven experience in a leadership role within security, preferably in a luxury hotel -depth knowledge of security best practices, emergency response procedures, and risk management.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team.Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to hotel security.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and external partners.Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferredRelevant security certifications (CPP, PSP, etc.) preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move about the hotel for extended periods.Physical stamina to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.Capability to lift, carry, and move security equipment as needed.Visual and auditory acuity to monitor and assess security situations.Ability to perform duties in various weather conditions.VisionLeading the future of luxury lifestyle; curating distinctive and enriching experiences.PurposeCreating Stories of DistinctionThe Maybourne MindsetPut People at our heartStay two steps aheadMake the magic happenWho you would be working forMaybourne Hotel Group owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Riviera, The Emory and The Maybourne Beverly Hills - six of the world's most renowned luxury hotels.Our hotels have histories that stretch back over a century.
