Job Summary: Kalsec aims to Play and win in the Savory Foods Space. To increase our chances of success, we need to anticipate the needs of our customers, understand the expectations of their final consumers and the pain points all along the value chain. Our overarching goal is to combine the unrivaled knowledge of our product portfolio with a detailed awareness of the final applications, to always adjust in the most meaningful way our value proposition. We want to maximize the interactions with our customers and prospects to make sure we do not miss any business opportunities. This role will collect customer feedback helping us to adjust and constantly improve our product ranges, the way we train our sales managers and where our technical specialists need to expand their skills sets. The successful candidate will have a solid background in the Sauces, Dressings and Condiments categories allowing for a complete comprehension of the entire value chain (from sourcing to B2C Marketing) and a passion for the players of this market. This role will work closely with the Heads of Kalsec's three food business units, Taste & Sensory Solutions, Food Protection and Natural Colors to create a strong cohesive vision and with the Technical team to validate the performance of our products and create a compelling story allowing us to grow with the three portfolios in these applications at a faster pace than the savory foods Market. Essential Job Responsibilities: 1. Establish growth goals, enable sales conversion, and monitor the growth of sales in sauces, dressings and condiments a. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, business unit leaders and R&D 2. Market and Consumer Insights a. Identify and Explain Market Trends b. Understand Consumer Behaviors c. Map Customers Size / Potential / Strength and Weakness d. Define Key customers to targets and Go To Market 3. Product Knowledge a. Full understanding of Kalsec's portfolio b. Identify Synergies and lack of synergies between BUs portfolio c. Segment Portfolio according Wh and share with Product Management d. Suggest Innovation and Development Options 4. Go To Market Strategy a. Together with BU Heads define Priorities by Regions b. Define Key customers to Grow, to Maintain c. Execute New Products Launches in the categories and adjust regional plans 5. Key Customers Engagement a. Become a key partner of Strategic customers identified in the Plan b. Help Sales to develop strong relationships with Customers A and B c. Train Sales Managers at the occasion of joined visits 6. Performance Analysis and Dynamic Reporting a. Monitor in depth category performance through Sales reports, competitors' analysis and customers feedbacks b. Provide a twice a Year a Performance update versus the Business Plan Essential Job Responsibilities: Required: • Bachelor's degree • Experience in Sales and/or Marketing • At least 7 years of experience in the Sauces, Dressing and Condiments business - various roles are possible: R&D, Marketing, Sales, • Existing Network within the Sauces, Dressing and condiments category • Strong presentation skills & executive presence • Comfortable with CRM systems such as and proficient in Microsoft Suite • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements Preferred: • Scientific background in food science, chemistry, biology • MBA • Snack food experience and network • Competency with Power BI Equipment Operation : • General office equipment Equipment Operation : • Ability to multi-task in an office or remote office setting - will require hours outside of traditional office hours for global locations Travel : • Approx 5 full days of travel every month to see customers or travel to regions Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
