Job Description An Established Mining and Bulk Material Handling Firm in Huntington, West Virginia are looking for a Mechnical Engineer whose passionate about what they do and are ready to take on the challenge of designing top-notch conveyor systems. Responsibilities: - Design and develop innovative conveyor systems that meet client requirements and industry standards. - Conduct detailed calculations and simulations to ensure the performance and reliability of the conveyor systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and review technical specifications and drawings. - Perform feasibility studies and cost analysis for different conveyor system designs. Participate in on-site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning processes. Essential Job Functions: - Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD software to create 3D models and 2D drawings of conveyor systems. - Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. - Collaborate with electrical and control engineers to integrate conveyor systems with automation technology. - Conduct performance testing and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. - Traveling to the other company sites 2 to 3 times a month but not every month. Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mining Engineering. - 5+ years of experience with a conveyor manufacturer and/or mining industry. - Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compensation: Up to 100k (Can go a little higher for the right person) + Benefits. This is a fulltime role.
