POSITION OVERVIEWThe Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's financial reporting and accounting functions. The scope of responsibilities includes, but will not be limited to, aiding in monthly financial close activities, managing accounts payable and employee expense reimbursement processes, providing support during mergers and acquisitions, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.A desirable candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is highly detail-oriented, well organized, and can manage multiple priorities while meeting constant deadlines.SPECIFIC ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the accounting team to support various functions such as month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily operations.Provide support during mergers and acquisitions, including assistance with integration of merger firm accounting processes.
