About the job Senior Tax Associate Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology, Finance, and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently, we are partnered with a preferred client in the advisory, tax and assurance industry in search of a highly talented Senior Tax Associate. Job Summary The Senior Tax Associate will be a valued business advisor delivering industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients. Key Duties & Responsibilities Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations Participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation Develop recommendations for clients and strategize with leadership Communicate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or related business field CPA or JD license preferred 2+ years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting services in public accounting Strong skills in time management, communication, and problem-solving Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated leadership and project management skills Strong analytical and organizational abilities Adaptability and initiative Desire to become an industry expert and trusted business advisor Screening Questions Do you have at least 2 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm? Are you licensed as a CPA or JD, or are you on track to obtain such licensure? Are you comfortable working in a remote/hybrid environment?
