Data Modeler Chicago, Illinois, United StatesResponsibilities1. Data Technology leader and subject matter expert with deep knowledge for a given set of Data technologies and applications as well as related processes.2. Demonstrate thought leadership by holistically stitching the right Data and AI solutions for enterprise clients3. Perform product or platform-based data landscape assessment, portfolio rationalization and provide solution to modernize, migrate and integrate applications on Hyperscaler using best practices and approaches4. Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather the required information, understand the client expectations, get clarity through workshops, suggestdeliberate on the right solution.5. Provide subject matter expertise and or technical vision to resolve and address business issues and priorities6. Designing enterprise data platforms on cloud (AzureAWSGCP) including services like ETL pipelines, Data Modeling, Visualization, Data Governance, RDMMDM, etc.7. Expert Troubleshooter and swift in managing any escalations or SOS situations in delivery or data related proposals.8. Contribute to building offerings solutions automation accelerators and nurturing NexGen data talent.9. Liaise with vertical account teams to go after new data related opportunities as well as grow in existing engagements.Must-Have Skills Proven work experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar role in building data architecture, Data models, Pipeline using Azure services or similar native AWS or GCP services.Strong working knowledge of Erwin Data Modelling tool.Strong Data modelling concepts of OLAP and OLTP systems.Strong Data Analysis skills using SQL.Good communication and presentation skills and ability to understand the business priorities and how Technology can support these initiatives.Nice to haveSomeone with a balanced mix of technical and business skills and working with an enterprise architecture team for strategic direction.Develop and drive domainapplication standards and best practices that align with enterprise direction.Understanding of the Agile based development and execution approachWell versed with data consumption design patterns like semantic layers, visualizations, etc.Good to have knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
