Global retailer in Shelton, Connecticut is looking for a Business Intelligence Business Analyst for their Shelton location. Business Analyst BI (Shelton, CT) The Business Analyst BI is responsible for using their knowledge to support our users globally to generate value from data autonomously and to efficiently use our Data and B2B platform nationally. Key Responsibilities.Develop a deep knowledge of BI and B2B applications landscapes.Deep understanding of company Data models.Foster a data driven culture and synergies within the local community.Collaborate with technical support teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide technical solutions.Promoting group tools and best practices.Providing business analyst expertise to centers of excellence related data initiatives.Following business related projects to ensure their success.Contributes to the regional user community.Required Experience.Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldAt least 1-2 years of proven experience with:Cloud data warehouses, preferably with GCP - BigQuery.Knowledge of DBT and version management tools (e.g. GIT).Knowledge in data visualization tools, mainly in Looker (including LookML).Strong programing skills in SQL, and Python.Personal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivation and ability to work independently.Flexibility to work in collaboration mode.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
