About Our Company:The Assyrian Cultural Foundation (ACF) is a non-profit organization inspired by Assyrian heritage, serving as a bridge between traditions and different generations in the hopes of building a stronger, more connected community through our various programs.Position Overview:We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher's Assistant to join our fine arts department. The ideal candidate will support the lead art teacher in providing an engaging and nurturing environment for students to explore their artistic talents. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for art and education, eager to inspire creativity in young minds.Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead art teacher with classroom management, including organizing materials and preparing for lessons. Keep an eye on students, ages 7 to 17, to ensure they stay on task and respect classroom materials. Provide hands-on support during art projects, helping students with technique and offering guidance on their work. Assist with set up and clean up art supplies and equipment before and after classes. Help organize and display student artwork for exhibitions and events. Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students. Qualifications: A strong interest in art and creativity (a background in education or fine arts is a plus). Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to assist with different tasks as needed.
