Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time, Senior Accounting Clerk to work in their Cicero location. This position requires you to work with customers and business managers to manage the flow of orders and to provide accounting support. You will be required to function in a professional manner, with a sense of urgency, and be detail-oriented. Essential Role Functions Manage customer accounts Assist sales managers with requests Process credits/invoices/POs Open new customer accounts Bank deposits/ACHs Reconciliation of assigned accounts Reconciliation of assigned Bank Statements and Customer Accounts Process and Manage Broker Credits Review weekly Aged Report Assist with Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payables Other duties as assigned Work Experience Requirements for This Role Associate degree or higher in accounting preferred No experience needed, candidate will be trained Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In-Office Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Ascendo is an equal opportunity employer.
