PBD Worldwide is currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operators for our Bolingbrook, IL Distribution Center. The prime function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to to deliver Superior Service Every Time! The key responsibilities for a Forklift Driver are as follows: Certified to operate at least one of the following: Reach Truck, EPJ, or Picker (SP3000/4000) Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment Preparing skid tags and pick tags "as needed" in a neat professional manner Cleaning up your isle as you go and throughout the course of the day Removing pallet wrap for pallet pick locations Removing debris from bulk pick locations when restocking Performing distribution tasks as required by business cycles Inspecting and auditing pallets for quality prior to putting away Recording all transfers in the system. If you move it, you scan it! Completing the operator daily check list Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Required Knowledge of Microsoft Office Certified Forklift Operator Mathematical aptitude Good organizational skills Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English Self-motivated individual to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision High level of productivity and accuracy Physical Requirements: Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck Frequently lifting up to 75 pounds while adjusting body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season Benefits: 401(k) Medical, Dental & Vision insurance Company paid Life insurance and Long Term Disability Voluntary Life, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident Health Savings Account Employee Assistance Paid Time Off, Floating Holiday
