We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Piping Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing computer software, and technical data to develop coordinated layout and shop fabrication drawings while communicating effectively with office and field personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Travel to the job site to conduct on-site installation surveys of facilities and existing systems. Work with multiple trades to coordinate layout of projects. Communicate with clients, coworkers, supervisors, contractors, suppliers, as necessary during the coordination and installation phase. Verify piping systems are compliant to design drawings and specifications and produce shop drawings & product submittals for approval by the project Engineer. Create procurement lists and fabrication drawings for shop fabrication of piping systems and pipe supports. Work with the Project Manager and the Design Manager during the fabrication and construction process. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Revit Certificate Navisworks Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design Certificate CAD Management Certificate CAD/CAM Certificate Qualifications Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent Two to four years related Formal CAD and field experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Qualifications Must have a current driver's license and a driving record that meets company minimum requirements. Must be able to travel. Must pass a background check.
