Job Description

The Nationwide Account Manager responsibilities include training and mentoring Kimball International sales personnel as it pertains to Nationwide accounts. They will maintain corporate communication and build relationships with Nationwide accounts. They will keep Kimball International front of mind with these accounts. Roles and Responsibilities: Negotiates and manages contracts with Nationwide dealers that will benefit Kimball International through this distribution channel. Coordinates with MSMs to onboard new locations as well as DSRs and Designers as needed. Engaged with customers, DSRs, and others on large projects as needed. Develop and maintains a business plan for continued growth of market share including promos, incentives, goals, etc. Responsible for effective partnering within the appropriate Kimball International teams. Own and approve plans/requests for use of marketing funds as well as working with finance team on reporting. Establish strategic business plans with appropriate MSMs, specific Nationwide account ownership in territory of responsibility Provide periodic Nationwide Account reports to field sales personnel to ensure alignment Monitor Nationwide account sales reports and news releases and provide to Management team Manage & participate in events to establish business relationships and build Kimball International presence. Collaborates with Vertical Market team in positioning these accounts as that makes sense. Responsible for communicating Kimball International updates with appropriate teams from each account. With purpose of keeping Kimball International front of mind. Coordinates with dealers on Cobranded items as needed with these accounts and works with Brand team to get created. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen relationships with Nationwide design and sales teams through visits, conference calls, training sessions, etc. Assist with corporate or location meetings that would require KII corporate presence Own the relationship of the corporate locations Travel required, based on segment - specific needs Proven history or ability to demonstrate safe / responsible behavior, and a positive performance record (including attendance) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal Skills People oriented Sales Minded Passionate, dedicated, reliable, insightful, and genuine Support team interaction Anticipates and prevents conflict when possible Demonstrate time management skills Organized; meets deadlines Communication Skills Excellent written, verbal, presentation and general communication skills Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization Ability to demonstrate and communicate the scope of what Kimball International has to offer based upon the needs of the customers Effectively handle conflict and support Kimball International programs and policies.
