The Lead Architect, Intelligent Automation owns Core Automation Platform and as a subject matter expert in this space is responsible for driving standards, processes and best practices for intelligent automation solution design and development along with driving road maps and lifecycle management. Essential Functions: Responsible for driving Intelligent Automation delivery activities that include automation discovery, analysis, design, build, test, deployment, and automation support working with Production support team. Provide oversight and governance to ensure automation solutions adhere to core platform methodology and SDLC (Design, Code Standards, Security, and Compliance) for consistency. Partner with IT Product Teams to design and develop solutions that are optimal and modular for scale and reuse. Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, scalability, maintainability, and traceability. This includes gap analysis and recommending alternate solutions. Influence automation activities performed by federated developers ensuring alignment with program goals, budget, and delivery schedule. Improve operational efficiency and Quality by applying SDLC Toolchain including enabling CI/CD automation. Drive continuous improvement through a feedback loop and an outcome driven KPIs focused on productivity, quality, and velocity. Lead Community of practice and Citizen Developers to mature the program. Responsible for managing Intelligent automation Platforms (UiPath Core Platform, Reporting Capabilities, Document Digitization, process orchestration, platform availability, license management etc.). Collaborate across IT, Business and Production Support Team to support key business programs & initiatives. Manage Platform issues, ensure SLAs are met, support Incident/problem management, perform Root Cause analysis etc. Communicate status and operational health to all stakeholders. Continue to research, review, recommend, communicate, and implement best practices and trends see in the industry. Responsible for maintaining Core Platform standards to support a growing number of Robotic Solution demands in the Enterprise. Responsible for maintaining Core Platform operational health. Ensure patches, upgrades, and fixes are applied across both lower and production environment. Manage delivery teams (onsite/Offshore) ensuring alignment to schedule, budget, and scope requirements. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill: Proven experience as an Intelligent Automation Leader with a hands-on experience with a consistent record of managing high-quality platform and program delivery. Act as an SME/Liaison to IT and business partners in this space. Experience leading a large-scale model and cross functional hybrid team in a regulated environment. Experience working with onsite and offshore resources. Expertise in solution design of platform architecture (preferably UiPath or relevant Technology). Experience in driving technology capability strategy and roadmap. Proven experience in SDLC, Solution Architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, Solution Architecture, API architecture and design, and systems integration. Strong leadership and technical skills to engage engineers and product owners to make decisions on technical trade-offs. Must be flexible and able to prioritize simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and risk assessments. Attention to detail. Continuous learning in emerging technology trends and tools. Experience leading the selection, build, and integration of solutions including data, API design, and Cloud technologies. Contributes with ideas that challenge thinking and standardize processes. Utility Space experience a plus. Education: Bachelor's Degree in STEM Program from an accredited College/University or equivalent experience. Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of leading design, development and implementation of Intelligent Automation Framework setting up Core set of standards and processes. Licenses & Certifications: Certification in Automation Tools and Technologies in RPA/BPA space. Working Conditions: Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
