In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity involving a managing project team. Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, acquiring new business and performing contract negotiations. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule Serve in a Design Manager Role as required Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews Implement QA/QC procedures Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers Maintain professional engineering registration Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree 7+ years' experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects Professional Engineer (PE) license Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
