Spanish Required. Minimum high school diploma; preferably a 2- or 4-year degree, 60 credits of study at a higher education institution, or a score of 460 or higher on the ParaPro assessment. Ability to work effectively with students and staff, demonstrating a cooperative working style and strong organizational skills. Job Summary: Foster positive relationships with Hispanic families to support student achievement. General Responsibilities: Coordinate supplemental state programs. Translate documents for the district. Serve as the district interpreter Conduct home visits and contacts as needed. Coordinate necessary outside services. Monitor students to support district-wide behavioral expectations. Attend meetings and training sessions as requested. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position. Reports To: Building Principal The position is being poised as a part-time position with the possibility of being full-time with the right candidate.
