Summary: Aegis is looking for a Millwright for a client of ours in Portage IN. 3+ years of industrial experience as a millwright Industry experience- HEAVY, within a steel manufacturing plant ideally but, if not that- then a machine shop, or similar industry. Please try and avoid heavily regulated companies- chemicals, food/bev. If they have some of this in the background matched with heavier industry please still how me! Able to read blueprints & schematics Burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing, combustion, mechanical systems, troubleshooting experience. Experience with Stick welding Pipe welding experience Able to use and read with precision measuring tools- tape measure, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, surface plates, CMM. Able to be on high ladders, climb those, and get in tight corners if needed Safety oriented person! Any advanced hydraulic experience would be a plus Able to jump in as needed and wear many hats
