Position Type: Food Service/Cafeteria Worker Date Posted: 9/25/2024 Location: Thomaston High School (Grades 7-12) Date Available: Upon hire Closing Date: when filled This is a part-time position during the school year only on in-person school days; no work hours are scheduled during school vacations or school holidays. This position pays minimum wage and requires 1.5 - 2.5 hours of work per day in a normal week during the school year. No benefits, no paid time off. Must be able to perform duties listed in the attached job description. The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922. The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown.
