Job Description

Hinckley Allen is looking for a Trusts & Estates associate to join a dynamic and sophisticated estate planning and trust and estate administration practice in Hartford. The ideal candidate will have practiced at least five (5) years and have experience in working with high net worth clients in developing long-term estate planning strategies, including drafting relevant documents for a range of estates, handling all aspects of the probate process, including post-mortem estate and tax planning and the preparation of estate tax returns and trust and estate income tax returns. Candidates should also have experience advising institutional clients, closely-held andor charitable organizations with regard to the legal and tax complexities of fiduciary administration. Candidates must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Connecticut bar. Admission to Massachusetts bar is also desirable.The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented and sophisticated work environment.
