Job Description Please Note: Candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however other location will be considered. Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed. ALL Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status for at least 3 Consecutive Years. Description of Assignment: Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA. Develop modernized code in JAVA Document existing logic Work in agile team to modernize existing systems. Requirements Basic Requirements: Active IRS MBI clearance Bachelor's Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates A minimum of 3 - 8* years collective developing applications in IBM Assembler Language Experience with Requirements definitions, Development or Testing of the IRS Individual Master File or Business Master File Prior experience working on Agile teams. Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning) Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team Professional skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent time management Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goal
