Role Purpose: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports driving operational success in the retail environment, assisting with onsite operational, marketing and event management.This role contributes to the total asset value creation working in partnership with the General Manager (GM) and other internal teams. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Creating and lead engaging events partnering with tenants, county leaders and national organizations. Execute successful, exciting and entertaining activations working alongside peers within the EDENS Event Marketing team supporting a community with thoughtful festivals including our retail partners as major engagement opportunities. Strategize future sponsorship opportunities to support programing. Develop partnerships and custom campaigns that are purpose designed to leverage the EDENS environment.Retailers and brands can leverage existing marketing and event programs designed to enhance the customer experience at Mosaic District and throughout EDENS portfolio strategically planned around the key retail themes of fashion, food & family.Utilizing a wide range of assets including media, experience, digital & online and retail engagement.Custom campaigns, sponsorship and partnership programs are a powerful way for brands to harness the power within Mosaic District and the EDENS environment. Support delivery of day-to-day operational excellence in accordance to established metrics and standards. Work in partnership collaborating with Building Services and Security teams/programs.Ensure optimal performance, detail and full compliance with Life Safety, Mechanical Infrastructure and Environmental management as assigned. Support execution of a capital management program defining a 5-10-year business plan. Assist with Common Area Maintenance and Capital expense budgets/forecasts within approved parameters. Creating partnerships, implementing plans driving and delivering on sales and dwell periods exceeding 60 minutes and beyond. Become the voice of the shopper while also delivering insights and trends related to the trade-area including other complimentary and competitive influences that potentially have future strategic consideration for the center's vision. Champion the center's customer journey experience programing to standards excellence and develop a team culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship and creativity. Develops as an ambassador and representative of Mosaic District supporting retailer engagement programs, local community/non-profit outreach, service providers partnerships. Actively engages in business prospecting opportunities driving additional management income opportunities as well as deliver annual storage budgets working in collaboration with Accounting, Tenant Construction, Design, Media/Marketing, Development and Leasing. Establish and maintain industry relationships and be the active members of industry and local business associations and organizations. Drive and source additional income and revenue in marketing and branding partnerships in alignment with overall Mosaic District strategy and vision. Business/Real Estate Knowledge/Experience, 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in shopping center/retail/property/hospitality management level roles. Demonstrated knowledge and interest for real estate and/or retail development, leasing property management operations. Possess or willing to seek professional designation (CPM, RPA, CSM or equivalent) & LEED Accreditation strongly preferred. Strong skills in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel primarily). Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise.
