We are seeking a Regional Property Manager interested in working for a growing and dynamic firm. This position oversees the firm's sub portfolios, leads on-site staff and develops operational systems that promote each property toward stabilization. The ideal candidate takes initiative and drives projects through to completion. Humble - someone with experience who can learn and grow Hungry - someone who wants to drive results, create new standards and constantly improve Smart - someone who is people and business smart and able to collaborate well with a diverse team Regional Property Manager Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations for a handful of multifamily portfolios, 300-1200 units each Monitor property performance and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenueDevelop, implement and maintain processes for all facets of portfolio management: collections, leasing, maintenance, budgeting and property reporting Coordinate with rental assistance programs: both Section 8 and other state funded programs Oversee capital improvement projects, including bidding process, coordinating with on-site staff and current residents, timeline and project management and reporting to company leadership Lead the quoting and binding process for property-level insurance coverageConduct thorough assessments of distressed properties to identify issues and necessary repairsDevelop strategies for property improvement and stabilizationHire, train and manage all on-site, property staff: property managers, leasing agents and maintenance crew membersConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedbackFoster a positive and productive work environmentCoordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties meet quality standardsSupervise contractors and maintenance staff to complete necessary tasksImplement preventive maintenance programs to reduce future issuesMaintain effective communication with property owners, stakeholders and other relevant partiesServe as a liaison between property management and other departments within the organization Regional Property Manager Requirements:10+ years as a property manager with experience in stabilizing distressed assets; experience taking over un-stabilized portfolios andor receiverships is a must 5+ years' leadership and management experience with a proven ability to recruit, train and supervise talented property teams Proven ability to read and analyze property-level financial statements, including P&L statements and budget variances; can implement specific initiatives that improve property NOI Strong operational mind: ability to create, implement and maintain processes for all facets of property management: collections, leasing, maintenance and property reporting Excellent communicator; able to professionally and compassionately work with colleagues, direct reports, vendors and residentsProficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and OutlookFamiliarity with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe a major plusAbility to lift 50+lbs and walk-up multiple flights of stairs If you meet the qualifications listed, please apply today!
