Summary: Chan & Chan USA LLC is a growing Food Production Company currently hiring full-time team members! The Driver position is an entry-level role in our newly built, clean and modern manufacturing facility. The Driver is a valuable member of our growing team and plays a critical role in the manufacturing of our many products. Ideal candidates must be safety focused. The duties and responsibilities of the Driver position can vary depending on the business needs but generally include the following: Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Deliver all products per shipping order / invoice. Obtain accurate payment for delivery and/or proof of delivery. Follow structured delivery frequency and time stops. Ensure cargo is secured properly and in compliance with all safety requirements to prevent damage during shipment. Participate in and successfully complete all Company approved and required training, audits, etc. Perform warehouse duties as required. Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to work in a refrigerated (50 degrees) food manufacturing environment if duties require work in the refrigerated areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually low and within all hearing safety guidelines. The employee must be able to move around the production site to inspect and observe for proper operations. The employee will occasionally be required to climb or balance, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds according to EH&S safety guidelines. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision and depth perception. Required Training: The Driver position requires training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality, and process efficiency. All required EH&S training must be completed satisfactorily. Forklift training. Important Qualifications to Your Success: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior production / manufacturing experience a plus. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures. Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and flexible to do other job duties through rotation. Consistently arrives to work on time, returns timely from breaks, and meets company attendance guidelines. Willingness to raise questions and concerns over issues. Good observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Self-aware, positive team attitude. Willingness to work overtime when required. Shows moral courage, openness, and honesty in all dealings with co-workers and company management. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED desired. 2+ years of experience commercial driving and delivery experience highly desired. Must maintain a valid Driver's License or CDL Class C License. Must have a current DOT Medical Card.
