Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.Experience working in a large, multi-location organization is highly desirable.____________________________________________________________________________About the CompanyA comprehensive healthcare network that provides a wide range of medical services through its various hospitals and outpatient facilities.About the RoleWith 20+ locations and a robust team of 15 GL Accountants, they are committed to delivering top-tier healthcare services. The General Ledger Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting the overall financial health of our organization.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.Prepare and review journal entries, adjusting entries, and handle account and cash reconciliationsCapital purchases, analyses and uploads to FAS.Performs monthly report analysis.Assists management with compiling data for internal and external audits.Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.With 20+ locations they will need experience with consolidated accounting.Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for management review.Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline workflows.RequirementsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.Working knowledge of general accounting concepts and full-cycle accounting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision 401kPTOInterview ProcessStep 1: LVSP PrescreenStep 2: On-site interview with Accounting ManagerDirector of AccountingStep 3: On-site interview with GL Accounting TeamStep 4: Decision time
