Owning and leading the development and implementation of robust injection molding processes, new technologies and effective solutions to customer challenges in launching new products. Partnering with a cross-functional team to achieve operational excellence. Recognized as the Scientific Molding Champion for PMC! What key responsibilities would you assume in this role? Personally lead the development and documentation of the optimum molding processes for new product/tool launches, including DFM activities and participation in customer meetings. Regularly introduce improved injection molding processes and technologies new to PMC that enhance PMC's ability to positively distinguish itself in Capability, Cost, Quality and Delivery among our manufacturing peer group. Develop Scientific Molding procedures for our new product process development methods, on- going processing practices, and secondary operations systems/protocols. Drive processing improvements to advance PMC's manufacturing efficiencies and customer value, enabling PMC to increase market share in its targeted markets. Participate in the estimating and quoting process as needed to ensure that PMC is offering the most appropriate processing technology solutions for our customers' needs, while generating the best chance to secure incremental business.
