Job Description The Wholesale Account Manager will be an energetic fan of premium beef and work in our Manhattan, KS offices. This position will involve extensive day time travel (occasional overnight) and be a champion for Booth Creek Wagyu. This position will propose favorable deals and negotiate with prospective buyers. The Wholesale Account Manager will also maintain and bolster the existing accounts. This position will be responsible for maintaining current clients and delivering exceptional client services. The individual hired for this role will be a self-driven leader who works well with associates and enjoys building relationships. Duties & Responsibilities Acquire New Business with Retail Stores, Meat Shops, Food Service, Restaurants, etc...Maintain and Grow Existing Customer Relationships and Business Cold Calls Visits with existing and potential new customers up and down the front range Inputting Sales Orders in the System for deliveries and will calls Work with team to ensure customer needs are met Work with distribution to ensure special delivery needs are met Work Closely with Accounting Office in assisting with Customer Accounts as needed Communications with customers via Email, Phone, and Text Qualifications: Qualifications 5+ years of a proven track record in sales or customer relations 1 year in protein/restaurant sales preferred Strong negotiation and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Additional Information **Pay & Benefits: ** Base salary of $50K Commission potential unlimited based on effort and effectiveness; 1st year expected $20-30K, 2nd year $40-50K Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits available 401(k) retirement plan & company match for employees 21 and older Generous paid time off Career development opportunities within Booth Creek Wagyu
