Job Description SUMMARY: The Operator supports the Plant Manager in the preventative, corrective and general maintenance of HVAC systems at the location in a safe, efficient and professional manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, (other duties may be assigned): Conducts daily assessments of systems Maintains a clean working environment Completes other various duties as assigned by the Plant Manager Adheres to all safety and health standards. Follows all company policies and procedures Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance at the job site or location Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Web, and other computer knowledge. LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively speak and understand English. MATH ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in liquid units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems related to the job. Ability to follow both written and oral instructions from managers and supervisors. Must be able to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies and tools assigned. Must be able to operate mechanical equipment, once trained, and detect equipment malfunctions. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: No certifications needed. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
