Job Description

Description & Requirements How you will contribute: Assembling tax returns, including transmission to client and government Assisting the tax department (scan tax documentation, filing, etc.) Tax work-flow management E-filing tax returns & extensions and monitoring of tax acceptances Assisting with report processing & front desk reception duties as required Providing administrative support to partners and practice management teams Composing and edit letters, memos, meeting minutes and other firm correspondence Tax due date management and delivery of tax deliverables Assisting in other administrative functions (filing, scanning, binding, ordering supplies, etc.) We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Close attention to detail (must be able to verify numerical accuracy) Must work well in a team environment Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines Excellent grammar & proofreading skills Problem-solving & resolution ability Effective communication skills Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to adopt innovative technologies and processes and recommend best practices to implement the use of modern technologies and processes Minimum Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: 3 years or more of administrative experience in a professional services environment Completed coursework from an accredited college/university or Associates Degree Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
