About Us : Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 350 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser. Overview: Work side by side with senior traders Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business Real-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffs Build and maintain trading models Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities Liaise between trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual's interests and specific skills Requirements: Possess a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, high pressure environment Detail oriented, organized, diligent Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure Ability to succeed working as part of a diversified team Strong interest in trading and energy markets in particular Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics High level of proficiency in Excel and VBA; SQL, python, statistical modeling, other programming a plus Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking Annual compensation range: $85K - $100K + discretionary bonus eligibility DV is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms.
