U.G.G. is a social equity-driven consulting firm, with a diverse team of business, government, and healthcare professionals. Our firm supports provisions that address individuals and communities adversely impacted by previous public health & health care policies. We are looking for top-performing contractors to join our team and contribute to our service initiatives, which include: Behavior Aide (BA), Family/Children counseling, Family/ Children assessments, Transportation/ Escorting, Child Supervision, and Drug Screening. These services will be provided in the following Georgia counties: Region 1- Catoosa, Dade, and Murray. Region 3- Fannin County. A Drug Screen Collector is a technician who collects samples for medical testing. A trained professional who has direct, face-to-face contact with collecting samples from individuals may work with clients who are undergoing drug testing, which involves specific procedures for collecting and transporting samples to a laboratory. Drug screen collectors need to ensure the integrity of the collection process and specimen, as this can impact the credibility of the test. Drug screen collectors may also perform other tasks, such as: • Explaining procedures: Instructing employees on the testing process and protocols • Inspecting specimens: Making an initial inspection of the specimen provided by the employee • Completing forms: Initiating and completing the Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form (CCF) • Distributing forms: Distributing copies of the CCF to the laboratory, medical review officer, employer, employee, and others • Maintaining security: Ensuring the security and integrity of the collection site • Shipping specimens: Transporting samples to a certified laboratory for analysis • Be able to travel locally and statewide (if needed) • Conduct home visits (if needed) • Collaborate effectively with client • Give support and always maintain a secure and safe environment for the client • Demonstrate U.G.G quality customer service; • Always promote a positive image of Comprehensive Family Care and its programs • Work as a contributing and collaborative team member • Respond to client needs within an accurate time • Answer telephone calls and emails promptly • Respond to requests for information from U.G.G and Comprehensive Family Care • Maintain personal information and training; • Attend and participate in required training and staff meetings as scheduled • Maintain required certifications • Review, understand and respond to program policies • Provide documents to Human Resources within an accurate time Qualifications: • Be at least 21 years old • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and one (1) or more years of collector's experience • Pass a background check • Complete a training course that covers DOT drug testing procedures • Demonstrate proficiency in collections • Obtain a certificate as a Certified DOT Urine Specimen Collector • Stay current on changes to test training material • Be knowledgeable about Part 40 regulations, the current "DOT Urine Specimen Collection Procedures Guidelines," and DOT agency regulations • Have direct, face-to-face contact with the client/subject • Must possess MS Office: Computer Skills • Professional Verbal and Written Communication Skills • Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License, with a minimum of 3-year clear driving history • Must have reliable transportation • Must have and maintain professional liability insurance and car insurance ( 100/300/100 coverage, which translates into $100,000 coverage per person for bodily injury, including death, that you cause to others; $300,000 in BI per accident; and property damage up to $100,000) • Must complete the required online training provided by GEMS.
