Please only apply if you are located in the STL area or have some ties and plan on returning to the area.NOTE: Sigla is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.Job SummaryThe Data Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data assets. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL and a general eagerness to be a data nerd. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for data integrity, and the ability to collaborate across teams to enhance our data quality processes.Responsibilities & DutiesCreation and execution of manual and automated test cases for all data vestigation of data issues that are impacting customer deliverables. Should be able to understand the underlying product frameworks and how data flows through the application at a high level, but growing in level of understanding in time.Will work with the development team on data issue identification and resolution.This person should be able to document steps to reproduce any bugs found, as well as any documentation, screen shots, and error counsel logs that occur.Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.Participate in story grooming sessions in order to understand the product changes that are in process and how it might impact data delivery moving forward.Follow current agile process for QA testing, however we will be looking to this role for process improvements that will allow this role to be more efficient, without sacrificing quality.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
