Hot new search for a Sr. Chemist or Chemical Engineer for a key diversified industrial in the Chicagoland area. This position plays a key role in the R&D and NPD efforts for thin coatingweb coating applications, gravure printing, reverse coating, ink batch and solvent & UV Chemistry systems. Background in polymer chemistry highly preferred. This is a hands on role for a team oriented hands on chemical professional who enjoys the freedom to develop new chemical products and processes and taking ownership of project management for assigned projects. Prior experience working with thin coatings in the 12 - 20 microns thickness on polyester films preferred. Travel 5% - 10%.
