You'll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation, and sickpersonal time.Location: Chicago, IllinoisYour Mission:As an Analytical Chemist, you will be at the forefront of our validation process, ensuring that all methodologies and equipment meet the highest standards. Your role will involve drafting crucial documentation, performing method validation, and authoring detailed validation reports to support our mission of excellence in the field.Key Responsibilities:Protocol Development: Design and update method validation protocols and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.SOP Creation: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for validated methods to streamline and standardize processes.Training & Maintenance: Maintain training records for staff on test methods and equipment, and oversee installation, operational, and performance qualifications for analytical equipment, particularly FTIR and GC-FID.Record Keeping: Ensure rigorous maintenance of calibration, preventive maintenance, and change control records.Validation & Documentation: Execute and document validation activities for FTIR and GC-FID, including the development and validation of specific analytical methods. Prepare comprehensive development reports, validation protocols, and validation cident Management: Document and address incidents, deviations, and corrective actions with precision.What We're Looking For:Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in method validation within a GMP-regulated industry, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical sectors.Skills: Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, especially FTIR and GC-FID, and a robust background in drafting and updating validation documents and SOPs.
