Job Highlights: Monday, Tuesday routes. Friday or Saturday Routes and start times will vary. This for Adhoc work. 20 hrs per week. In state and out of state driving. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Physically load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle in a safe, timely manner Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Maintain vehicle appearance by ensuring all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers Possible Warehouse duties - Clean, wash and sanitize truck's. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and fumes or airborne particles. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting. Extended periods of sitting. Sequential or simultaneous use of hands, arms, feet and legs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Physically load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle in a safe, timely manner Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Ability to use a mobile/navigation device (GPS) and knowledge of area to make delivery's to customers on time, adaptability of area's and familiar with scanning devices Maintain vehicle appearance by ensuring all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers Ability to lift, bend, stoop, twist, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and prolonged sitting while driving Possible Warehouse duties - Clean, wash and sanitize truck's REQUIREMENTS: Current, valid driver's license (CDL NOT required but a plus if you have one) Comfortable with smartphones - basic computer skills (email, print & scan, Word) Read maps and use GPS Demonstrate basic computer skills (email, print & scan, Word) Show basic knowledge of Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicle. Climb in and out of vans/box trucks repeatedly with no difficulties Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude and willingness to work Preferred Clean driving record with no at fault accidents or more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years (Due to Insurance coverage) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol and background check Must be at least 21+ years old
